We believe that God established His church to accomplish several key tasks—evangelism, discipleship, preaching, teaching, fellowship, etc. The word "worship" embraces all of these key tasks It is the logical response of creation to the all-encompassing magnificence of God. It ought not begin nor end on Sunday mornings. As redeemed people, we should live the entirety of our lives worshiping the Lord. Our Sunday morning experiences are designed to worship God in the true sense of the word.
MUSIC AS WORSHIP
“Sing to him a new song, play skillfully, and shout for joy.” ~ Psalm 33:3

Music has enormous power to engage our hearts and minds. The Bible resounds with praise and thanks to God through music. We believe music is an important way to worship, honor, praise, and glorify God. It also helps us to connect with Him in a deep and meaningful way. At Church On The Trail, we personify that through our musicians and vocalists, who lead us in musical worship to loudly proclaim our joy in salvation through Him.

THE MESSAGE AS WORSHIP
We believe the Bible (the Old and New Testaments) is the infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word of God. It is given to lead us into a saving relationship with the Lord. Our messages will dig into the Scripture and will inform, inspire, challenge, and call people to a more Christ-like lifestyle.
Our messages, as all authentic Christian preaching should, seek change. They cut against the grain of surrounding culture, challenge presuppositions, convict of sin, and call people to put their faith in Jesus Christ. Christian preaching, though, has at its heart the desire to make a change; to say something the world does not hear from anywhere else and does not even want to hear. Therefore, the objective of our messages is to lead people to the foot of the Cross to meet Jesus and to develop Christlike thinking, Christlike character, and Christlike conduct.

Come and worship God with us!
